Finally, I can rest and have more sleep today if I so wished coz I've had a busy weekend, on saturday my mother-in-law was celebrating her 70th Birthday at my back garden, she wanted to have a BBQ party so I was playing the hostess and glad that it was a success.
Then on Sunday, I was invited to attend a friend's baby shower, she was due to giving birth to a baby boy next month, I met more Indonesian people there and most of all I had loads of indonesian food that I miss so much. It was fun but tiring as well, it was the first time for me and abit awkward at first but I think I enjoyed it. For an introvert like me who doesn't know how to mingle or socialize often, I sometimes feel abit left out or feeling I'm not in the circle but rather standing outside the circle and observing but I did find a little courage to join in the conversation and had abit of a laugh. But that heels are killing me! it did make me look tall from the rest of them too!
We've been talking alot through facebook, I must say Facebook is Awesome, I found lots of my high school friends, my neighbors, my cousins and relatives and of course my brothers and sisters plus nieces and nephews hehehe. Anyways, I would like to wish my dear sister of mine a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! may God bless you with happiness and good health always!
I phoned her awhile ago in time when she was about to go out to have a birthday lunch, we talked about my problem of getting out of UK to Netherlands to visit her that might be cancelled coz for one, I have to apply for the visa in London and two...I don't think I can afford it if my hubby wants to tag along hehe.
So we decided that my sister is going to be the one who is coming to visit me in the UK in August, I'm so excited about that as we will go to London, yeah pathetic isn't it that I've been living in the UK for a year now but haven't yet step a foot in London, the capital city of England!
Anyways, my sister is celebrating her 41st Birthday and I gotta say, she's not getting older but getting sexier hehehe. Love ya sis!
On Saturday, hubby and I went out to town to look for a bag for me, the only bag that i could bring to the UK was my special favorite bag from my best friend Connie as gift when i was in Jakarta. The bag's handle was using chains and it was broken about a week ago although I managed to fix it but i really dont want it to be totally broken so it needs to carry more lighter stuff now, it cant carry lots of things anymore as I normally do. So I found a nice not too big a bag in town from River Island.
This is the first time I celebrate my hubby's birthday in the UK coz last year we celebrated it in Jakarta. His birthday was on friday, he took the day off from work and took me out to the Pub, we had drinks there, had a really relaxing day, took a walk at the farmer's market on saturday and popped by his parent's house to pick up his birthday gift from them, they gave him a new jacket. I gave hubby a set of coffee mug with whisky and chocolates as he likes to drink coffee with whisky sometimes.
He chose a Creme Brullee Cheesecake for his birthday, nothing fancy but he enjoyed it, he does love quiet and relaxing moments, so we spent most of the times at home, watching a new dvd we bought at sainsburys and did alot of cooking.

I got this email from myself a year ago and I just sent an email for myself a year from now and i should recieve it on my birthday next year. It's kinda fun although abit pathetic hehe.

Awaken by hubby at midnight to wish me a Happy Birthday. Woke up early at 8am to open presents. Hubby cooked breakfast. Went out to a pub for lunch and drinks. Went out shopping at Marks & Spencer. Hubby cooked a delicious steak. Had candlelight dinner with wine. Tipsy and ready for bed. HAD A GREAT DAY!

To my beloved husband, Thank you for the great day, for pampering me, for the chocolate birthday cake, for the sweethearts roses, for cooking me, for everything, I know you're gonna read this at your office tomorrow, so again I want to thank you for everything and you purposely taking the day off for my birthday, I love you so much! but i'm still waiting for my GIFT hehe.
Although I still miss my family & friends and wish they were with me on my birthday but I'm still happy that I could spend my birthday with my husband for the first time and his family. I'm heading towards bed now and I know I'm going to have a sweet dream, Good Nite All.
I have to say that I'm soooo touched to receive this e-card from my fellow voxer that I can't resist to make a thank you note, you're the first person and one day early to wish me a happy birthday for that, my friend....I really do THANK YOU!

- 4 days to go before my 30th Birthday, I wish I was 13years old instead of 30!
- Can I still wish for a baby? but i feel old, imagine having a baby in my 30th and 10 years from now, my baby would be 10yrs old and i'll be 40! GACK!!
- I wish for me and my husband will have a happily ever after marriage and will still love each other till the end of time.
- I wish for my family in Indonesia to be always blessed by GOD. (since I dont think they could come in time for my birthday coz they cant afford it)
