Two days ago my friend Komang invited me over to her house for lunch as she usually did every other week when she's not working or has a driving lesson to attend, so I went there and there was another person in her living room, she said she forgot to tell me about this person that was also coming, Her name's Suliani and she's also an indonesian but from Medan and a chinese girl who used to live also in Singapore just like me. I kind of glad meeting another indonesian in the UK, she also told me that she lives nearer to my house, which makes me glad too as it's walking distance.
It was a nice meeting and lunch, Komang is a great cook, I love her cooking and I do like that we are getting more closer now, I guess I don't know yet about my new friend but we'll see if we clicked just like me and komang.

I met up with Komang again yesterday, Im beginning to feel at ease taking bus these days and roughly know how much I should pay, she and her daughter picked me up at the bus stop and we walked back to her house, we spent the day at her house coz her daughter wasn't feeling well, we watched some cartoon which I enjoyed much coz it was funny, She made me "Nasi Rawon" for lunch, I absolutely loved it as I have been missing Indonesian food. She is a very nice lady, we talked and talked for hours, seems like Im beginning to know her alot now and we do have something in common.
I had to go at 4pm as my hubby text-ed me coz he was on the way back from work, I walked to my parents-in-law's house which is near Komang's house coz I usually go shopping every tuesday with hubby and mom-in-law. Hubby picked us up there then we went to Sainsburys. My Mom-in-law invited me to have lunch with her and her husband in town today, so I'd better go and clean the house first before I could go out of the house. Till later...
Yesterday I went out for the 2nd time to meet my new friend Komang, it was my 2nd time taking a bus here in UK, she was taking me to town as she and I needed to buy some stuff and she also needed to return some books to the library in town that she borrowed for her daughter.
Once there she took me first to several Job Centers to find me a job, well I didn't get it though, no surprise with the recession going on right now, so we went shopping at Debenham.
Yesterday, I went to meet my new friend that I met in Facebook, she's an Indonesian too who lives in the same town I live here in Worthing, I must say I'm glad I finally found someone that I could ask alot of questions about life in the UK and also someone whom I could talk to using Indonesian language. Yesterday was also the first time for me to take on a bus trip in the UK alone, I must say I think I got the hang of it and might go out more by bus to town by myself in the future hehe.
Komang is a nice lady, she's from another part of island in Indonesia called Bali the most popular and beautiful island in Indonesia while I'm from the Java Island, so basically we have different dialect but we're all taught Indonesian language at school, I couldn't use the city slang with her though as she's speaking in correct indonesian language with Balinese accent and occasional english words as she's been living in the UK for 10 years and already a british citizen since 2 years ago, she told me about her life and how she met her englishman hubby in Bali and about their only daughter Tasha, She made me Indonesian food for lunch which I long for, I was so happy! I got alot of useful information on what I should do or go to now that I'm in the UK. She's also willing to help me to familiarize myself in Worthing and so we're going to meet again next week! Thank You Komang!
