Phone calls, emails, text messages, facebook, Morse code or something else... How do you like to stay in touch with your friends?

Well when I was in Jakarta and since most of my friends are in Jakarta, I would phone them up or text them up for chit chat coz it's cheap but now that I moved to the UK, I can't possibly phone them up or text them often as I couldn't afford it and it costs a fortune! But I'm using Skype to phone my family as it's alot cheaper than using home phone.

Now I stay in touch with family and friends through Facebook! I even found my long lost friends and high school friends in Facebook, I have my 6 year old nieces and nephews in facebook too hehe, it's awesome!

 

What do you tend to worry about in the middle of the night?

Let's see, I used to meditate in the middle of the night just because it's more peaceful and the sound of cars or things that you usually hear in the day have disappeared at night, but now I couldn't do that anymore as hubby is snoring quite loud and disturbs my meditation hehe. I wont call it Worry but more like prayers, wishing that tomorrow would be better than yesterday in terms of my activities and what i've done. Planning things to do or what should i do tomorrow is more what i'm thinking of before i close my eyes, I'm not worried if tomorrow never comes and that GOD decided to not wake me up in the morning, coz I should be glad that HE doesn't disturb my peaceful sleep and I THANK HIM FOR THAT!

Sometimes we have to meet many un-connected people in order to meet the connected ones, i'm talking about when we're chatting with people, sometimes I have to be the only one who ask lots of questions and come up with topics but the other person don't respond the same way and that's tiring and becomes burden, I have only few online friends that are really connected to me and I love them to death, they're more fun and creative than me and some become my real life friends.

Would you rather be rich or famous?

I think this question has been in Qotd before but no matter, I'll answer it again, I'll choose Rich than being famous, just because I could use the money to help alot of people, especially my family and relatives and others who need it.

Besides, being rich would means that I could travel the world, shopping to my heart's content and well I don't need to get a job hehehe.

I-love-blogging

Wow, I've been blogging for years I don't know what else to say besides I love blogging. I guess for more details in answering that question would be because I'm more an introvert, somewhat nerdy and I used to love writing in a diary to rant and raves, I can also be called creative and through blogging, I can express alot of it.

I guess blogging is like a diary book but with audience and much more fun!

Who do you write down as your Emergency Contact? Why did you pick this person?

That would be my husband of course or his parents and vice versa, Why? coz they're the only people I know in UK and I couldn't possibly call my mom or family all the way to Indonesia, that would be too far.

Today is Repeat Day, so we want to know: what song do you have currently have on repeat? Bonus points if you share it with us!

I've been loving my loneliness these days, I've been going out alone, no where particular, too bored being at home alone, sometimes I just take a long walk to the nearest shops, near my neighborhood or to town, took the bus and just window shopping, all by myself....well that's the song that keeps playing in my head whenever I go out...alone.

What do you plan to do when you retire?

Frankly, I've never thought about this as I'm 30 now and still jobless and I have no savings at all, so I don't even know if I could afford a retirement, just take life one day at a time i guess, nobody knows what the future brings, I might even won a lottery next week (dream on!) hehe or worst, die...

I've always been an indonesian, no matter where I am right now or 10 years from now, if I could afford it, I would want to go back to my country and spend however long life I've left in my beloved country and buried there.
